Who we are

We are a group of people who come from previously disadvantaged communities. In many ways these communities despite the changes in the political and social landscape still find themselves financially disadvantaged with limited employment opportunities.

We have been fortunate and blessed to have been given a chance in life through a kind word and the encouragement of others.

Many of us are today employed in the corporate world .We have decided to assist young adults from similar backgrounds / communities with a chance to carve a better life for themselves.

Aspire Learnership Foundation was formed based on the identified needs.

Birth of Aspire

In February 2011, the founding members decided to form a non-profit organisation called Aspire Learnership Foundation. The purpose of this foundation is to empower and educate the youth of South Africa. The name Aspire symbolises hope, determination and a desire to change lives today for a better tomorrow.

What do we believe?

We have been blessed by the Almighty and have had our lives transformed by Him. We believe in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and that with Him and through Him all things are possible.

We will share our experiences and knowledge with the youth to grow them.

How do we function?

Aspire Learnership Foundation is a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and all funds acquired will be utilised to sponsor the learners tuition & travelling costs and for the operational costs of the Foundation. The Foundation is financially sustained by various sources i.e. government funding, corporate & general donations from individuals & private bodies/ trusts.
